Unforgettable Memories from the Wedding Night!

February 5th, 2006. Evening. After a sunny day at 19:00 the Wedding Ceremony of Batyr Amanow, and his now-spouse Mahri, has started with warm welcome of ‘Olympic torches’ at ‘Ayly Agsham’ wedding hall near Teke-Bazar.

Relatives, classmates, friends, co-workers, and many more attended the pleasant night. It is impossible to forget the ‘mysh’es, who made the event more colorful.

Long story short: in the name of ‘Malays’ Allamyrat Yollyew, Shohrat Yazberdiyew and Wepa Narmedow has given congratulation speeches and wished them (Batyr & Mahri) all the happiness.
Dances were crazy. The performer was Mekan Atayev, new Estrada signer.

After the party was over the broom and bride were escorted to car. This was the moment of late bravery of Merdan Atayev, an undiscovered popstar of Turkmenistan. He has performed the nostalgic “Ayly Agsham” (co-incidentally the name of the place) of late-star Annaberdi Atdan, in accordance of Mekan Atayev’s singing crew and Turkmenistan popstar Seydi.

“If we knew Merdan could sing well, we would have pushed him to perform as a present from UTP guys” stated Begs, expressing his opinion about Merdan’s performance.

But, the night was still young. The guys didn’t know that enjoyment was still beyond.

After the ceremony in “Ayly Agsham”, guests proceeded to the house of the broom. So did the ‘mysh’es.

There were very bright moments around the tea ‘sachak’. Such as, Muhammet told Batyr ‘Welcome to the club’. Although this was a funny moment, the actual funny thing was that Begs laughed after quite a while when understood the joke following the ‘long process of ‘scanning’ the possible uses of the keyword ‘CLUB’.

After the tea there was time for ‘GUSHAK’, which caused many tragic-comic incidents. Batyr requested a belt, for the use of ‘driving away’ the crowd after the bride unties the broom. However, crowd didn’t approve it. Parahat, classmate of Batyr, has arranged a cloth tied with a potato, instead.

Audience curious to watch the show of bride getting the broom untied did not realize what would happen next. The tying took very long time. Some of the youth took advantage of crowd concentrated on the show, by tying their feet, which would cause them trouble when they will attempt running away from the ‘angry’ violent broom. However, this was not very effective, since the ‘gushak’ untying took longer.

Therefore, the same adventurous youth decided more different technique. They blocked the door of the room to avoid the running crowd to get out.

Some of the guys already got out, just in case. Some where out the door.

The ‘gushak’ was untied, and the process started. But broom soon realized the crowd has no way to go out. And he allied with internal crowd, and fought to open the door. Door-lock broke, and door was open. Broom started to wave the ‘potato cloth’ over the people on the door.

This was a shocking surprise for the ‘adventurous youth’. Right away they started to run away, downstairs. Broom insisted in chasing. Batyr G, Begs and Merdan were running down the stairs. From upper stairs Batyr Amanov was waving over the ‘criminals’ running over the lower stairs across. Batyr G was lucky not to get any scratch, Begs was very LUCKY to get the punch of potato from the roomy. And Merdan, although he did not get any potato punch, he lost his balance and fell down the stairs. His left side of the cheek scratch, and left side of the eye collided to the edge of a stair step.

This was the BLOODIEST part of the night. However, Merdan got up trying to continue escaping from ‘potato monster’. Begs has given signal to Batyr to cut. Batyr confirmed that everything with the victim was OK, and returned back to his new-married wife, whom he should have never left alone at home.

Merdan commented: “This is the most unforgettable memory from the wedding of my dear Brother Batyr”. For those who were trying to manipulate Merdan for revenge, he replied “Things happen. We have to be happy tonight. If I decide to revenge Batyr, I would end up getting married just for the revenge.”

Begs’ complaint was: “My roommate has promised me to not hit in his wedding. However, I became the one who got the biggest strike. This is unfair. In my life I had only two hits from the back which caused me the shortage of breath. And one of them was this one, unfortunately”.

Night chilled well. The crowd has left home at around 00:00 of February 6th Morning. Batyr A. has reported that he would pass on the digital recording as soon as possible for the media.
